Our Awesome Experience at the 2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting
Sun, engines, and great company, the 2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting by ELMOTO had it all.
From June 5th to 9th, 2025, we gathered in Kato Alissos, Achaia, Greece.
Riders from all over came together to share stories, rev up their machines, and enjoy the scenic beauty of our region.
We were there not only as professionals with a MotO.K booth but also as passionate motorcyclists.

2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting
Friday
We arrived on Friday morning and immediately began setting up.
Our booth and tents had to be carefully prepared, as, even though we expected great weather, we decided to prepare for every possible scenario.
Fortunately, the weather turned out to be absolutely perfect!
Once we finished setting up our little “Gaulish village,” we decided to explore the surroundings.
Camping Golden Sunset is located in a beautiful part of Achaia, about 20 km from Patras. It offers shady spots, ready-pitched tents, and small rooms for rent.
The highlight of the camping is the large pool with water slides and a jacuzzi, while the beach is simply amazing.
Throughout the day, motorcyclists kept arriving, alone or in groups, and the atmosphere was fantastic. There was laughter and friendly teasing everywhere, and it didn’t take long for everyone to become one big group.
The excursions of the day included visits to the region’s historic monasteries and the Strofilia Forest, with a stop at Kalogria beach for a swim.
The second excursion was to Agios Andreas and Psila Alonia.
Back at the Camping, epic battles took place at the Table Football, followed by Sack Races and Chair Fights.
Thanassis Vavaroutas took us on a journey through Iran and Eurasia, enchanting us with descriptions of the Silk Road and the Asian Steppes.
The day ended with traditional dances from the Tsekoura Dance School and a concert by Dismissed (formerly Bad Habits), who, with their fantastic sound and presence, were exactly what we needed to close an exhausting but utterly enjoyable day.

2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting
Saturday
If Friday’s weather was “perfect”, Saturday was… even better!!!
We woke up to a beautiful morning, had breakfast by the pool, and got ready, half of us to “work” at the booth, and the other half for the excursion to Ancient Olympia.
We think you’re not too interested in what we did at the MotO.K booth, but we’re sure you’d like to know more about the excursions.
We visited the Foloi Oak Forest and Ancient Olympia.
The Foloi Oak Forest is the only one of its kind in the Balkans and one of the largest and oldest in Europe. It was impressive and majestic, with beautiful trails. Next, we visited Ancient Olympia, which is simply unique. The tour guides were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the area.
We all became one big group, our convoy twisting into a stunning snake of colors, chrome, and sounds, weaving through the picturesque landscape, as if in a movie.
The second excursion went to Messolonghi, Tourlida, and the Salt Museum, while a third group headed to the Pinios Dam, Ancient Ilida, and Kourouta. Two other groups visited the Venetian Castle and the Port of Nafpaktos, and the Archaeological Museum of Patras.
In the evening, we returned to base, swapped our jackets, helmets, pants, and boots for swimsuits, and… guess what we did next (poooooool)!
The only thing that’s for sure is that everyone had an amazing time.
(At this point, we had to make a note from our colleagues who stayed behind working, that the expression “EVERYONE had an amazing time” might not be entirely accurate… and we’re still not sure what they mean by that!).
A little later, we watched Thanassis Choundras explain the secrets of safe riding in his unique way.
In the evening, 15 50 and Dimitris Starovas set the rhythm for the night, closing another wonderful day.

2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting
Sunday
The weather was on a mission to drive us crazy, going from good to… even better!
In the morning, we once again had our little… “drama” by the pool, while those of us who had come by car (we had to transport our stuff somehow) prepared for work, while the lucky ones got ready for another ride.
Those of us at MotO.K who had come with motorcycles were preparing for the excursions, while the rest of us… worked.
(It’s no surprise that “some” of us were wearing helmets even when not on the… bike)!
The first two excursions were to Kalavryta, one off-road and the other on asphalt. A third group headed to the Banias Bridge and took a tour around Lake Trichonida.
A fourth group went to Ancient Olympia and the Foloi Oak Forest, a fifth to the Dorian Riviera (Monastiraki, Marathias, Trizonia, and Chiliadou), and the last one to Achaia Clauss Winery.
Back at the Camping, we had the finals of the Table Football and the Moto-beauty Contest, with the Ducati of MotO.K’s owner, Kostas Tsalapatinis, winning first place in the Touring category.
The amazing Giannis Siderakis presented his new book “The Rama” (The Rama is a narrow road built across a lagoon near Koronisia, in western Greece — named after the traditional builder’s line once used to mark straight paths on construction sites), and we also had the opportunity to see and purchase his other two books “MotoHumans” (Μηχανάνθρωποι) and “RocknRo” (Ροκεντρό).
During the presentation, we had the chance to meet the author and chat with him. We laughed, we were moved, and together we understood what it truly means to be a real “MotoHuman”!
We hope the books will be translated soon, at least into English, so that even more people can experience the wonderful world Giannis creates in his books.
At the end of the night, we enjoyed traditional dances by the Kato Alissos dance group, a raffle with lucky winners (who, among other things, won a seat cover and discounts for turning seats into Custom Comfort ones), and of course, Horizons band gave a stellar performance to a packed venue.

2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting
Monday
Monday was the day of farewells.
From early on, we all started packing, feeling great joy for the wonderful days we had spent and a little sadness that it was over.
The goodbyes were heartfelt – from strangers, we had become friends, and we made plans to meet again at the next Motorcycle Gathering, wishing everyone well and hoping we would reunite soon.

2nd Summer Motorcycle Meeting – Conclusion
At this point, we would like to congratulate and give a huge thank you to ELMOTO for the flawless organization. We also want to give credit to all the Clubs that went above and beyond to show us the beauties of the wonderful Peloponnese.
We would also like to thank Psychogios Tire Shop for assisting us with the transportation of our bulky items.
May we all stay healthy and continue to meet at Gatherings for many more years to come!
