SEAT COVER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Regarding the installation of the seat covers, the degree of difficulty varies depending on the motorcycle model, as well as on the material the seat cover is made of.
Installation instructions are included in your package but they are also available on our website.
If you feel that the installation of the seat cover you have purchased is hard, please contact a local professional upholsterer to install it.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
The SEAT COVER is usually made of PVC material, and whenever there are logos, these are silk-screen printed or embroidered.
- Non-skid
- Water-proof
- Antifungal and antibacterial
- Sealed stitches
FOR INSTALLATION YOU WILL NEED
- A staple remover or a plain screwdriver
- A nose pliers
- Use a pneumatic or electric staple gun
and staples no. 6
Approximate time to install: 1 hour
STEP 1
Remove all the staples from the old seat cover using a staple remover and the nose pliers.
STEP 2
After removing the old seat cover put on the new one so that the seat cover centers fit the centre of the seat.
STEP 3
Start by stapling the front and back centre making sure that the cover is slightly stretched from front to the back of the seat.
Next, stretch the middle part of the seat cover and staple the 2 sides.
STEP 4
Finish by stapling all the way around the seat.
You may need to remove some staples and apply them again to make small corrections.
CARE ADVICE
- For washing: use only soapy water and a soft sponge.
- Keep away from sources of heat.
- Not recommended: detergents and abrasive products.
